Atlanta Area Spring HERF 2008

Khari and I were discussing the idea of a HERF this past weekend. It seems that there are quite a few "ATL" and surrounding community members on this site, so here is the question. How much interest would there be for a HERF? Some of the idea's that we kicked around were:

1. A BBQ/Beer/Cigar HERF at Stone Mountain.
2. A Golf Outing.
3. Someone who would be able to host a HERF.
4. A better suggestion?

Thinking of April/May as a good timeframe.

Let's bring this to the top and see if we get anymore interest. I'm in (unless I've missed it already)

I'd be in favor of a BBQ type of outdoor event.

I'm in Athens. . .been trying to drum up some support for a mini-herf here this spring. College town with a number of friends and colleagues who like to indulge every once-in-a-while. Not big on traveling to the ATL unless I have to, but the Stone Mtn area may work. Keep Athens in mind. No good cigar bars or lounges but me and my wife are thinking about an all day event in late April or early May.
