I really enjoy these cigars but last night i had a Domaine from a box which i had bought a month ago. Icut and lit perfectly, however it tasted 'young', and 'green'. There wasn't the taste which i had expected from my last few Domaine. Everything else was great: the construction, pull, burn, etc. So does this mean that I was smoking a dud, or that these need to have some age to them? Is it possible to get a NC that is too young or will go through a sick period?

I've only had a few Domaines, but they've always been a pleasant experiance.

Sorry if this doesn't answer your question, just doing a bit of post padding.

...actually I can help a bit, NC's definately can be too young and need some age to reach their full potential, think Opus, for example. Sick periods, I'm not as sure about.

Domaine's are some of my fav's...bring me all of your's on Saturday at the herf, and I'll make sure they're ok! :laugh:
