B&M member lockers

This past winter we have had problems with humidity levels in the lockers. The walking side is fine. The lockers are on the opposite side of one wall with slits and even a fan if needed to pull it through the slits. Each locker has a decent slot in the back of it. Humidity on the store side is 70 with obvious mist coming in their system.

It was winter so you know how that effects humidity. Also, each locker door is not sealed so you will loose there. Do you guys who have B&M lockers have issues from time to time?

The owner said they are not meant for long-term storage and we should bag our inventory. I differ with that when one considers the marketed purpose and intention for members. If it isn't for storage then why not just buy from the humi each time.

I wondered if I put a big bag of beads in there if that would help. I heard someone used a puck but it dried quickly. I had a locker at one of their other stores but never noticed an issue. Never noticed an issue last year either... just this winter.

I gave my original home humidor to my wife. It was the usual add water to a puck once every 2 weeks. Beads even dry out. My personal home humi is an iglodor. I add water once per year maybe :thumbs:

I would guess that putting a bag of beads inside would help to a degree. It would depend on how often you open the locker and check it. If the seal in the locker is loose and the outside environment is dry, the beads would be affected by that, too. But, if you're there fairly often, it probably could help.
