Balvenie Sampler

With all the talk of this stuff I found a sampler of this stuff. There are 3 50ml bottles.

Founders Reserve 10yr
DoubleWood 12yr
Single Barrel 15yr

Gonna start from the bottom and work my way up one day.

Do you guys drink this straight, chilled, on the rocks???

I usually sip my Scotch with 2-3 medium sized ice cubes. When first poured you get it at full strength. THen as the ice melts, the nose and bouqet open up and you can taste some of the nuances. I rarely use water unlese it is something I am familiar with.

Balvenie is my favorite scotch and I have all 3 you listed along with some others too. I've always drank it straight but some may not like the kick of the 15 yo Single Barrel (between 94-103 proof depending on the cask) and cut it with ice or spring water. I'd say try them straight first and then decide if you need to mix with ice or water.
