General Cigar invited me to visit their facilities in the DR this coming November, according to the invite the plants are at their peak and ready to be harvested, seeing as this will be my only chance to see the whole process from start to finish, i'm jumping in with both feet. Now i know some people don't appreciate some of GC'S products but they are successful and sell a goodly number of sticks, so they are doing something right. I can't wait to walk among the plants and see it all. I'll be transfering at JFK if anyone wants to meet up for a smoke, eight hours to kill. Wish me luck with the weather! :thumbs:

That sounds really cool. Enjoy yourself and you do realize we all expect a full report with photos upon your return.

For what it's worth some of General's cigars are fine by me. The Hoyo Dark Sumatra and the Punch Pita are two of my favorite "fishing" cigars.
 
Damn straight i'm going to have fun, and pictures to follow, Anthony i'll be landing at JFK at 08:10PM on Nov. 10th.
