These are without a doubt the best beans I've EVER had, bar none!

At $30-$50 per pound I feel that they're still worth it. Maybe not my everyday bean, but damn those are good beans. The Single Estate Dark and the Dark Peaberry are the one's that really wowed me. :yum:

Thanks for the tip on this coffee!

I bought three bags, the Piko's Peabody is absolutely awesome. The other two are good, but not off the chart good. If the Peabody wasn't so dang expensive I'd be drinking it everyday.

MrJerry - when can we expect a Killer Peabody?

:whistling:

Wow, 30-50 bucks a lb! :0

As much as I'd like to try it, I have enough luxury items that I already spend ridiculous prices on; I don't need to add coffee to the list. My wife thinks I splurge by buying Starbucks. Oh, and don't even get her started on cigars.

The irony, of course being that most Thais drink Folgers. :)

I'll have some 1/2 lb bags in about 10-12 days as we'll be roasting again towards the end of next week. We're working on some small 3 oz samplers of these outstanding beans and they should be ready mid summer.

BrewMeister, I'm working on some "Killer Peaberry" as I type. I've got a desk full of samples (from estates thhay I already deal with) and am weeding through the pile. When I do make my selection the price will be below $30-50 per pound.

The Doi Chaang beans are a very high quality bean, one of the highest I've ever seen (and drank), plus there's only 50 tons of the 2005 crop and we've got it all. #300 tons next year, and since the harvest is going on right now I've had a few of thee early samples...minnd blowing! The single estate dark roast is so good, rich and flavorful that I just can't get enough of it.

When the coffee guru recommends a bean that he does not sell, it's a no brainer, I buy it!!!
I bought 1.5 pounds. I love good coffee. Hell, I will pay a little extra for a damn good cigar.

I was so damned thrilled with the beans that I am going to be selling it...coming to a coffee pot on a very limited basis in less than two weeks! Stay tuned!!

Jerry, glad you mentioned that you are going to be selling the Peabody beans, as I was about to pull the trigger on another order - the Single Estate Dark and the Signature are certainly good, however for me, the Piko's Peabody is the most remarkable. Are you saying you will be selling the exact same bean, or a similar bean?

I'll be selling the same beans (I'll be the North American Dist) plus working on some Killer Beans Peaberry. The Single Estate Dark is my favorite, and I've got that and the Medium Roast Single Estate being roasted and sent out next Friday...should take 4-5 days to get to me. If you order from me it's cost you less as you won't have to deal with the Homeland Security $10 fee per package plus the shipping frrom Canada.

Best coffee I ever had..... winter of 1976 somewhere on a firebase in Korea. the mess sgt made it in a 50 gallon aluminum pot..... boiled some water...threw in a ten lb bags of coffeee... a 25 lb bag of sugar and let it boil all night. about 3am with 8deg in the cold, it was the best tasting coffee I ever had in my canteen cup....

Now that's one hell of a big batch of of beans to brew up...a little crazy sounding, buut if it made your day then that's about all that counts!

You don't have to go far to find takers ;) Put my name down on that "to do" pad.

BTW, how come you are posting in here but not responding to emails - email holiday? :p
