CAO MX2

-Nice, dark wrapper, not oily
-Firm pack w/ a tight roll, heavy in the hand
-Clipped well, but had a weird single cap extending farther down than I've ever seen

-Pre-light sniff was very chocolatey
-Easy ignition
-Mediocre draw
-Definite hints of smooth cocoa throughout
-Somewhat one dimensional, never changing in flavor

-Wasn't too impressed w/ the amount of smoke
-Didn't hold an ash for jack sh*t

I don't know that I'd make it a point to seek another one of these out. I often blabber that a certain stick will be better w/ time. I don't believe this to be the case w/ the MX2. It will likely become more mellow with age...which isn't what this stick needs.

Definitely a solid cigar for the price of admission, just not fabulous.

hrm... seeing a pattern here... you don't seem to like most of the maduro's you smoke -- Anejo Shark, Untold Story Maduro, and now this guy.

Haven't had an MX2 yet, but it's on my list to give a shot soon.

hrm... then again you love the Padron 1964/26 maduros....
