I've recently started smoking cigars in the car, no real ill effects in regards to odor etc... via keeping it cleaned and air out time + febreeze. However I've just noticed a sort of tar like substance in little spots on driver side door/roof pillar. Just little black specks that are slightly sticky to the touch. I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this and if there is any known effective way to clean it off.

I've been smoking in the car for years and haven't seen anything like that. Maybe you need to put your window down more. Just a thought.

I can't seem to enjoy a cigar inside the car. Just when I start enjoying it and relaxing, someone does something dumb on the road that gets the calmest person to use ummm, those curse words....... :whistling:

All the way down, plus a semi down back window for better airflow. It might be related to something else, but eh. Its only noticeable when running your hand along the pillar, really not something you can see. I'll probably run it over with some leather cleaners and see what happens. But defintely not a windows cleaner... not exactly the best thing to use to clean anything other than windows.

You sure you're not mistaken and smoking Philly Blunts?

Yes.
