I just scored a box of Carlos Toraño Casa Toraño Toros off of CBid for about half of retail. Anybody have any opinions of these?

good mild cigar; bought a box about 3 months ago for an everyday smoke and they were almost all great (a couple had burn issues, but you get that 1 or 2 donkeys per box)

I really like the Torano line, just bought a box of Carlos Torano Virtuoso, toted as the strongest cigar they have made. It packs a bit of a punch. I found it tasted like black coffee and cocoa. Very yummy !

I love those Virtuosos for an everyday smoke. And I agree, the strongest cigar they've ever made.

The Casa Toranos are nice, but just too mild for my tastes...even for a morning cigar.

Torano Virtuoso's are great, Casa Torano are a pritty good mild smoke. If you had a light dinner or morning smoke.

How are the 1916 Cameroon's compared to the Casa Torano? I have a bid on a fiver of the Casa Torano and might want to try the 1916 as well.

I don't have a lot of experience, but I find these to be quite a nice cigar. They are mild to be sure, but I enjoy them a great deal.

I've not had a virtuoso and the 1916s I've had have been quite good if you like cameroons.

Of course, this is all coming from a newbie with an undeveloped palate, so take it for what it's worth.
