Sorry I missed it - we have a new sick kitty on our hands, and had to start nursing him back to health last night. You know what's really cool though? We found a vet that makes HOUSE CALLS! Man, talk about saving the cat from a traumatic car ride - that's so worth the $15 travel fee the vet charged us.

Ever try to shove a pill down a cats mouth? I don't recommend it!!!!!

Ever try to shove a pill down a cats mouth?  I don't recommend it!!!!!

I have a system that works...I once had problems with the same thing.

What you do is you find an old toothbrush...one you don't use anymore. Kneel down so you are vertical towards the side of your cat. Hold the pill in one hand near the cats head, and hold the toothbrush in the other hand near the tail. Now shove that toothbrush right up that cat's ass real good...and when it's mouth opens shove the pill in.LMFAO. Works everytime.
