CI "checkout" deals

I read this on another site recently and thought I'd post it here though I'm sure many of you have read it.

Anytime you buy something on CI you will get "deals" right before you check out. There are the ones early in the checkout process, but there seems to be better deals right after you enter your CC info and your in the "gift" section. You can also get these deals alone by removing the item you used to see what deals were being run. Like right now I saw the 6 cigar DPG sampler (currently $22 on CBid) for $20. Before they had the 10 DPG CC Blacks (the ones that hit 40ish on the CBid Special) for $30.

So its CI with CBid prices (or less). Something to check out every now and then.

I've actually bought twice from the offer on that page. Once I got 10 Padilla Signature 1932 Robustos for $29.99, and another time I got 10 Alec Bradley Maxx "The Freak" toros for $29.99. I thought both were sensational deals.

So...you put something in your cart, go to checkout, enter your CC info, and then just cancel the whole thing out if there's nothing good in the "impulse buy" spot? Interesting.

Yup, and if there is something good, add it to your cart, go to the CI homepage, go to cart, remove whatever you don't want, and you've got the deal. Although with shipping and whatnot, I normally can't order without a couple items (I convince myself its to save shipping ). Maybe combine with a Joe deal for the best value :thumbs:
