Cigar Box Guitars

The Wifely Unit and I were visiting one of the local street markets this morning. Vendors of all types gather to sell their produce, arts, crafts, etc. One of the woodworking vendors had these out for sale. I thought they were very cool.

I didn't pick one up to strum. The cost for an electric guitar was $95. The amp was $85. He told me if I supplied the box, he'd make me a deal.

I picked up one of the guy's cards. I haven't checked out his site, yet, but the URL is 3GWoodworks.com.

The guitars would look good hanging in a studio. Can't imagine playing one though. I also cannot imagine a use for the amps.

Minus to DOD, currently using a Digitec RP70. Awesome little processor for $70, 100's of effect and a drum machine built in!

Both Pre-amp and Power-Amp must be vacuum tube or it is a no-go.
