Just checked out the site in HD. Great interviews with Ernesto, Pete Johnson, Rocky Patel all from the IPCPR. Some of the clearest well produced video I have seen. Comprehensive up to date site with video of current cigar news and information. A valuable tool for lovers of the leaf to read and see what is going on in the cigar world. Who's running this and how is it set up?

It seems a friend of mine recieved an email from cigarchannel asking him to join facebook.

He's not on facebook and the only cigar related company that he's given his email to is Castro's Back Room.

Now, I know Castro's is now tied into this, but I don't know if they are a sponsor/advertiser...etc.

Casto's will be asked about what they do with their emails, as he was only recieving Casto's newletters!

Not good form by either party. It would be good to allow the user the option to recieve affiliate information.

I sent a note to Castro's, similar to what I posted.

Sounds like he took his email list and gave it to a marketing company...for a NEW company.

I know it gets 'muddy' as he owns Castro's...the better thing to do was give his list a heads up and chance to opt out first.

My friend was concerned he was hacked.
