I'm at a local fast food place Del Taco. I sat down to enjoy my lunch and connect the trusty iPhone to the free wifi.
I plan to check the forum and bam! Blocked! I got this message...

CigarPass is too classy for Del Taco, no wonder you couldn't get through from there. :D

I got that at Panera's one time. I figured it was Gary's links that were responsible so I blamed Robbie.

I doubt they specifically block CigarPass. More than likely they checked some categories in their filter and CigarPass is caught up in one of them. You could try asking for it to be unblocked, but I doubt there are IT staff just waiting around and it's probably not worth your time anyhow.

CP is blocked for me at work under the umbrella of "social networking". I can still access cigar review sites, so I know it's not the tobacco part causing the block.

Forums, social networking, and instant messaging isn't allowed in our managed environment with the provincial government. Fortunately I have a phone with a data plan for use on my breaks.

Social networking and Youtube have always been blocked here, but recently they offered faculty access to these on our workstations . . . if we did a separate login for each site. With time we intended to be there specified.

Oh, yeah, sure, I'm going to let downtown read my Facebook page. As if. :sign:
