Cigar recommendations

First of all welcome to CP! You should try some of the other Montecristos for starters including the #2 Torpedo which is a personal favorite. Some others you may want to try are Diplomaticos, Sancho Panza and the Cohiba Siglo line. Happy smoking :)

Some of the other isoms on the "not so strong" side (no isoms are really mild per se)

El Rey Del Mundo Choix Supreme
San Cristobal
Romeo y Julieta (Corona en Cedro #3 or Coronita en Cedro)

as for Domestics (non-isoms)
Montecristio Platinum
Romeo y Julieta (I liked the Reserve Real)
Trinidad's (DR) probably not considered mild

GOOD LUCK and Welcome to CP!

Thanks for all the recommendations, guys!

I bought a couple of RyJ Reserve Reals, and will try them this week. I could not try the Monte Platinum. I will try Monte #2, Diplimaticos, and others next time I am overseas.

Thanks again. I look forward to participating in the forum!

-Monte #2
-El Rey Del Mundo Choix Supreme
-RYJ Exhibicion #4

If you don't like the strength of some of the Cubans, try to get a hold of some w/ a little age on them (3-5 yrs.) This mellows things a touch in some cases.

For domestics, try the following:

-Perdomo Edicion De Silvio
-Davidoff Millenium Blend Lonsdale

Both are creamy, complex, and not too full-bodied. There is a bit of an issue finding the Edicion De Silvios though :)

Good suggestions from everyone so far. The mildest Havanas to me are:

Quai d' Orsay

They are very nices cigars and I think you'd like them.
