Cigar tower

I picked up the tower in 06. The unit has eight drawers as seen in the photos.
(sorry about the photos)

With many attempts to keep the humidity in the drawers at 67/70% I was about to just give up.

I could not keep cigar with (light wrappers)Cameron wrappers in them because they would dry and explode.

The humidity in the drawers would only get up 64% even with the humidor at 70%

So I picked up some small DC volt fans and just adapted them to the system.

Two small tupperware containers from Bed and Bath .

Drilled some hole to control the out put and a little tap, what do you know 68%

I'm liking the DIY vibe. Way to be inventive!

I found computer fans that I adapted to use in my Vino-o-dors and I am pleased with the result.

I have the same Tower of Power and love it. I put my DIY skills into the exterior and am almost finished with the glass design. I lucked out having a huge humidification box that came with the deal. I like your solution; mine stays 69/69 with the big unit at the bottom and I found a nice cool place away from vents. I wish my cigar selection was as nice as yours, but I'm rebuilding. :whistling:

The big Issue I find is the fluctuation in humidity from top to bottom.

When I moved the canisters to both sides of the drawers it worked out pretty good.

I recommend any one that has a unit like this, to buy a couple digital meters and place them on each level.

Even with the fans moving air around every hour, the balance is hard to maintain.
