So, I read in the intro forum that there are at least a few other people from Maine on this board...even if they're "away" now. I don't expect a whole lot of answers, but I was wondering if anyone knows of any good cigar stores in the state? CigarLife has a list of ME cigar stores, but I've never been to any of them. They're all a 40-90 minute drive from here, so I was hoping someone could recommend one.
Does anyone know any good places in the state (especially greater Portland) to go to smoke stogies? There's a hookah bar on Exchange St. called the Purple Caterpillar that I haven't been to, but they might frown on you smoking different types of tobacco in there. The only place I've been able to smoke recently are Amigo's and Brian Baru's pubs, in their frigid outdoor enclosures. I haven't asked, but I assume they wouldn't mind cigars as long as it wasn't crowded and windless.
Failing that, can anyone suggest a store in either New Hampshire or Massachusetts that would be worth making a day trip to?
If no one has any ideas about Maine I'll just make some random trips and post anything I find out.
