City Of Dallas Nears Smoking Ban

The Dallas, TX mayor, Laura Miller is pushing hard to get a city-wide ban of all smoking in all resturants in the city limits. The only exception will be where alcohol and not food is the main source of food sales (i.e. bars & clubs). I, for one, find this incredibly disturbing. I have a new pizza joint that I "discovered" this past Saturday. Under this new ban, not only would I be prohibited from smoking inside the dining area, I would not be able to enjoy a small Havana Honey on the back patio! Unreal. I can't believe we would stoop to such a low in this land. Each time we give up a freedom, we lose a bit of our America. ???

I agree, that is a great blow to freedom, I sure wish there was a way to stop it.
