While searching online for these I noticed a slight discrepancy...

Most of the online dealers and references show the Cohiba Exquisitos having a 36 ring gauge by 5 inches in length but...

all my Habanos literature and also the Habanos site ( http://www.habanos.com/vitolario.asp?cal=1 ) shows the Seoane vitola as being a 33 ring gauge cigar.

Why the discrepancy? Was the girth of this cigar recently changed?

Also, does anyone have the story behind the Seoane vitola? A roller in Cuba told me it was named after a Cubatabaco exec that had some muscle disease in the face and couldn't hold any cigar heavier. Apparently, this is the smallest production totalmente a mano Cuban cigar that is blended with ligero.

Thanks.

According to the official Habanos info that I have saved: SEOANE - 4 7/8" x 36 (125 x 14.29 mm) and it includes two vitolas, Cohiba Exquisito and Vegueros Seoane

I was looking at The Guide to Habanos Sizes, I guess it must be wrong. I also saw it on the Habanos website.

Thanks Matt.
