Which sizes of these are the best? Also, how long should I let them sit before smoking? Or are they good when "new"? Thanks for the info.
 
Haven't had one in quite awhile, but the #9 Mads (Rothchild size) were generally tasty. Best if laid down for a year or more, IMO.
 
I like the No. 70 EMS. I smoke 'em fresh out of the bundle and like them, but I would at least let them rest a few days after receiving them. These aren't perfect as you get a plugged one now and then, but for near a buck a stick online a real good value.
 
For a smaller sized smoke I bought the 568 Naturals. Got two bundles, well ages already as they cello's are all considerably tinted. Smoke real nice right now! 5x44 in size.

Also recently just bought the Consuegra Dominican Republic in the Figurado size, and damn they look good! Construction is top notch. Burn was the same, but could tell they are a little green still.
 
I only like the maduro or oscuro's,they leave a very dry finish though....have a drink handy.

The #9's and the ones that are never in stock #843 are what I have and only ever purchased those.
I made a mistake and grabbed the naturals............#84 when I wanted the #843's.It wasnt bad though.
I like Flor De Oliva,Famous nicaraguan private selection corojo,famous nic 3000,RP Sungrown Factory Selects,sancho panza extra fuerte,and regular ERD better than connie's.I wont be buying anymore.
 
Ive got all 25 of the #16 just sitting in the bottom of my humi. Havent tried it yet, but I'll get around to it eventually.
 
I usually buy the 16s and like to give them as much time as possible if I can. Even a couple weeks seems to help them, but after 4-6 months you can really tell a difference. I have never let one sit for longer than that.

I just reread - and intend to give the "Old Fashoned" line try, however, absolutely will NOT do business with Mike's Cigars. This Mike is not to be confused with a GOOD vendor named Mike, MDMan. See this thread

I got a few off c-bid a few weeks ago, dunno what size, 5' long and thin. I'll try and send you a few tommorow. I suggest leaving them sit a week or two first.
 
My first bundle of cigars (and only, so far), purchased just a few months ago, were Connie #84 Maduros.

There were decent in those first couple weeks. I've been trying other stuff for a while and came back to an #84 this past week after a couple months. They're even tastier and smoother than I remembered. They started well, but just a couple months was a huge improvement.
 
I've only had the 16 (Maduro) and 18 (nat and mad). That being said, I really like the 16's and probably won't buy 18's again.

I'll give another vote to the #9 maduros. I thought they were pretty good smoked within a few weeks of purchase, but I'm sure that time will be a friend they'll get along with nicely.
 
The Connies are pretty good but there are so many good competitors in that price range now that they are less appealing. My latest fav is the RP Select Sungrowns.
They have a new spicier wrapper now, too! You pay from $1 to $2 depending on size and auction. I think the petite coronas are my favorite but they are all good.

And then there's the Flor De Ybor City SGs, Tampa Sweethearts, Famous 3000's(if they evr get more), Mayorgas, etc. Just ask Wilkey about the Mayorga Maduros - if you can get him off his Moontrance kick. ;)
