The Original - Except No Substitutes!!!
Well today officially begins the countdown until Christmas. Jack Bauer probably couldn't even perservere what I saw myself this morning... Cloe probably could, In fact I saw alot of faces today that looked like Cloe's. NO SMILE... anytime! Perhaps Abu Fayed should have showed up and completed the look of terror I saw at times in peoples' faces. In fact a few people should have went back to the infirmary at CTU for debriefing and rehabilitation. It would appear that in January, Jack is assigned duty in the African continent, probably a needed bit of R&R after the holiday season.
As a seasonal challenge to myself, I try to go out of my way to be a bit more outgoing in deeds of niceness. Whether it be holding the door for someone, a smile to someone disheartened, a kind word for a checker or clerk, or even helping someone find something- it really does in fact make the holiday season a time of giving and caring. You never know the heart of someone before or after you interact with them, you could change their outlook on their whole shopping experience.
So I challenge all my BOTL's to do the same, and make the countdown to the 25th a time of JOY and PEACE!! HAPPY Holidays!
