So I have gotten back into riding my stationary bike at night. I had been doing it for a while with good results. I had lost about 10 or 15 pounds but gained it back once I got off track. Anyway, after a good workout I decided to end the night with a smoke. I pulled out the Cuesta -Rey 110th Anniversary that I was bombed with by ggiese some time back.
After some research I found out that this cigar was part of a special group marketed by JC Newman as the "1895 Perfectos". Which included:
1. Diamond Crown 1895 Perfecto (5 ¼" x 54)
2. DC Maximus 1895 Perfecto (5 ¼" x 54)
3. La Unica Perfecto 1895 Perfecto (5 ¼" x 54)
4. Cuesta-Rey Perfecto 1895 Perfecto (5 ¼" x 54)
What a great little cigar. It had a strangely "creamy" taste with just a light hint of spice. It was terribly smooth and mild. I think I would have liked a little more punch to it but still overall a great little evening smoke.
