So here I was just innocently browsing Cbid to see what kind of deals were being thrown out and BAM, within 5 minutes I've signed up and won a bid on some Box Press Italia's. A 5'er for 17 bucks. I know, I know, its only a 5'er but I think this slippery slope has just reached a new level of decline.

That's a damn good price and what the site should be used for. Just don't be one of those people that bids $50 for an Opus X Petite Lancero single.

Keep an eye out for good smokes at cheap prices and don't get get too caught up in winning a particular bid. There will be more of the same cigar later...

I used Cbid when I first started smoking to buy lots of different brands to try them out. It is a great place to sample stuff for cheap. I filled up two desktop humis in about 2 weeks when I first started smoking and found Cbid. Now, roughly 3 years later I still have hundreds of singles that have a few years age on them because I bought a lot more than I smoke.

I had heard at the time that the c-bid product was stored separately from the CI product and under less than optimum conditions. Anybody know anything about this? in any case I had at least 2 very questionable shipments from c-bid so I stopped ordering anything from them. How are they these days?

Expecting my first delivery on Monday and second delivery on Tuesday...I know I should have picked Thursday shipments only. We'll see what condition they are in. I'm sure they are going to be fine. The most frequent complaint I've seen is that folks spend too much money there. lol

I have had that problem. Once with a both of Vegas 5 a couple of years ago and then recently with a lighter. However both times I emailed them and with out a question they made things right.

Definitely go with the thursday shipping. You are killing the "deal" by paying the seperate shipping.

agree 100%.

I'm on my 3rd order so far so good no complaints. but as a new smoker its a great place to try different cigars for less. I think.
