My brother is starting the season with the Dayton Dragons and I'll be coming up to see him pitch in the next couple of weeks. (Click for a short plug on my bro!)

How far is the stadium from the airport? Any recommendations on things to do or cigar friendly restaurants/bars?

No kidding, Scott's your brother? I live just outside of Liberty, and watched your brother play several times in high school. So are you originally from this area as well?

Yep, grew up there and graduated from Liberty High School in 1992! My parents still live in Liberty so we try and visit every couple of months.

When Scotty was in high school my wife and I lived near the Plaza, so we would come watch him all the time.

Dayton Dragons!! Nice. I used to live in Dayton and held season tickets for the time I was there. I got to see some big boys by the name of Austin Kearns and Adam Dunn play before they went to the bigs. The Dayton Airport is small, easy to get into/out of and about 20 minutes to the stadium.

For cigars you should go to The Wharf in Beavercreek.

For food and libation The Dublin Pub is within walking distance from the stadium and has outdoor seating for when the weather cooperates and also carries an "alright" assortment of cigars and allows for smoking them. They also carry Guinness on tap and have some of the best live Irish music around. Down the street from The Dublin Pub there is an assortment of restaurants and clubs/bars. There is plenty to keep occupied with and with UD (University of Dayton) nearby there is no shortage of eye candy.

Have fun and good luck to your brother.
