Sad day for Motor City. He's had a great career with the Wingers, we'll definitely miss him. Between his retirement and Rafalski's departure, things will get interesting for the Professor, who is thankfully back for another season.

16 seasons in the NHL, 13 wearing the winged wheel, and 3 dates with Lord Stanley. We'll miss you Ozzie!

Good for him, he deserves to enjoy life beyond the game. A fan favorite indeed!

Congrats, Ozzie! Will be interesting to watch the Wings once Lidstrom retires. Is a Wing return to the valley of mediocre too much for a Kings fan to wish for?

Chris Osgood is an excellent example of a goaltender that has been able to successfully adapt his playing style to keep up with the game. 15 years ago you would never see him using a butterfly/VH sliding style of play, and alot of goalies that were part of that old school are no longer around. Chris proved his worth by being able to keep playing and learning as he went. Too many goalies at the upper levels of play feel they're beneath learning new things, whereas Chris would be at summer camp right alongside WHL, NCAA, USHL and NAHL goalies.

The Professor retired back in 04, and is now making Wine. He's also got a pair of hot daughters :D

But I agree, it's sad to see Ozzie and Drapes retiring. They've always been great classy players.
