I waited all day for Doc's bits of wisdom and nothing was posted so I'm going to substitute for him and post.

On this day in 1927 the first Television images were broadcast and shown in a lab on Telegraph Hill in San Francisco, by American inventorPhilo Farnsworth

Spent the better part of the last two days in my beloved Green Mtns. Thanks for filling in. BTW, he never allowed his children to watch TV.
