I was at my local B&M this afternoon, and i started talking to the guy about the Opus. He said that they didn't bother trying to place an order for them because they are so hard to get. However, he said that the Don Lino Africa was practically the same cigar. I am wondering if this has any truth. Has anyone tried the Africa and if so how would you compare it to any of the Opus'?

I would not compare it to opus but I enjoyed all the ones I have smoked.

I've never had an opus. Too poor :p
However, I LOVE the lino africas! LOVE THEM!

The one DLA that I smoked was really quite good, and I usually don't dig Cameroon wrappers!

But I cannot fathom why it would be compared to an Opus.

DLA Is a great medium bodied smoke. It doesn't have a camerron wrapper though, it has a cameroon binder. Yeah it really doesnt compare, but I would buy 3 of them before an Opus.

I really enjoy the Don Lino Africa. I've never had a construction problem and the flavor is excellent. I prefer teh Punda Milia size.

It is nothing like an Opus X. Not even close in any way.
