Every year for the past 15 years, the ritual begins now. I take the freshly prepared tax return with the check attached, fold neatly, place in the envelope with the proper postage and get in the car and drive downtown listening to the Abbey Road album and hand it to the friendly postman. He should be friendly since the check should about cover his salary for the year.
For the ride there is always a nice cigar, (tonight it will be a 1964 natural that has been in around for several years) and a glass of scotch (Auchentoshan 10 yr old is this years selection). At least there is a nice ending to a nasty task.
Well, have to go for the ride now.
