So I stopped by the B&M tonight to check on Opus tins (almost gone) and buy the box of 25 Padron 3000 maduros that I saw lying on the top shelf a while ago. Seeing as it's a box of 25 I figured it may have a little age on it. When I got home, I opened it up to inspect the contents, and thought to myself, "Nice, the cello is yellowing, and the bands are even stained a bit." Well I found the little "packing slip" the Padron folks put in there: 10 May 2004. Damn! I can't wait to try one of these in a week or two once they've dried off a bit in my desktop.
