I thought FOG stood for freakin' old guy. As in your chronological age on Earth.

Now I'm getting the impression it's just the opposite of newbie, no matter how old you are.

I think you should be able to be a FOG and a newbie at the same time.
 
The term is generally used to describe folks that have been on the board for a long time :)
 
In my book FOG= long term member, should be very knowledgable and have a large collection of cigars, should be able to help any newbie or (FNG)


FNG aka Newbies= new to site or been around for a while but havent been as active and still have MUCH to learn.


I base the title off of what you know and how much you have contributed to the site. But ,then again, I am just a lowly newbie so WTF do I know?

Boy do I have a lot to learn about Gars. All I know is I like em. :p
 
FOG: Been here since the beginning or a very short time after the beginning, no matter how often you post.

FNG: Everyone else, no matter how often you post.

FNG with priviledges: New to this forum but an FOG at one of the other Cigar BBs.
