Free Southern Chicken sandwich at McD's today

They're free with the purchase of a medium or large drink.

I tried them the other day, and while they aren't bad, they're no Chick-Fil-A or Bojangle's. The breading tasted faintly like pickles, even though I ordered it without them. There was no evidence that they simply removed the pickles and served it to me which is why I'm pretty sure it's the batter.

Their sweet tea is crap, by the way. Don't bother.

I'm so glad you said this, because I got one of their breakfast chicken sandwiches the other day, and thought the exact same thing. I just thought I crazy, or my taste buds were messed up. Damn Drew Estate must have shown them some tricks.
