Has anyone ever tried Dry Ice or another source of CO2 to preserve cigars?

While pricing dry ice for Halloween I found a pamphlet promoting the many uses of dry ice. The one that caught my attention was related to grain storage. While searching the internet for more information I was only able to find the link above.
Might be a good idea for long term storage.
Does anyone have more info or thoughts about CO2 fumigation?
