Hey Guys and Gals

I'm getting off work soon and wanted your take on a good relaxing cigar, I prefer maduro wapper, robusto, med. to full flavor but i'm open to other cigar you may think would be nice for a glumy day. Thanks

Stephen

That sounds nice, I was reading the reviews today in the forum and it seems to be a popular choice, plus I have never had one, so thats always a good reason to find out if it will be a regular to my humi. As I have limted storage until the 15th, when I will be getting 200 case :D

I favor the Fuente Chateau Maduro for relaxing, inexpensive maduro smoking pleasure.

In fact, I just ordered a box of them today. Can't wait to rest them up and burn 'em.

I guess I should have mentioned that I will be smoking it today...because it been weeks since I have had cigar, and I don't have any in my humi because it's new and empty...because sadly the mover lost the box that had my cigars in the :( newb mistake for letting movers take my gars. Live and learn right...sorrry for rambling on, I just wanted something that would be smokeable today. Thanks again

I'll second the Padron 2000. I think a Arturo Fuente short story would fit the bill, too. Oh, and you plan on staying at CP, ya might as well move up from the 200 count humi to a vinotemp and just get it over with. :laugh:

I think my wife would kill me, I already have to replace all of my lost soldiers...but eventually I will need more storage right...and thats what I will tell her lol, hopefully that will work. I think I will go for the Padron 2000 then. Thank you for your quick replies, i'm very excited now :)

I'm not against the Padron x000 series. But having smoked a "fresh" one myself, this is definitely a "rest for a while then smoke" type of cigar for my palette.

But everybody is different.

Some other "good when fresh" choices (for me anyway):

AVO 7-8-7
most HdMs (If you're looking for more taste & fullness. I like the Rothschilde sticks.)

Did you inform the moving company of your loss? I would think that the person that stole them could be narrowed down to a relative few...

They claim it was lost in the warehouse, I will be getting money for it but, I won't be getting back the cigar I had been saving for years, money is just money, my cigar were memories of friends that I havent seen in years. I mean I will just have to start over with my check from them, lucky when they packed it up I was able to assigned the proper value (cost + time + personal value = 15.00 x 40 cigars) so they will pay for there mistake, but I do hope and believe thats all it was, an honest mistake...

.....it's "Gloomy", by the way. "Glumy" sounds like it would have something to do with adhesives....

"Glummy" is a word, that has the proper meaning for this;

Glummy
Glum"my\, a. [See Gloom.] dark; gloomy; dismal. [Obs.]
