Going on Vacation!

That's right folks, look at me! I'm going on vacation!


My wife and I fly out to Belize Friday morning for eight days! We're staying at the Blue Tang Inn, which is owned by some freinds of ours, and we'll be living it up in the top floor overlooking the ocean on the hammock on the balcony! And the little one will be spending the week with the grandparents in the country driving tractors and sorting bolts at their machine shop, so he couldn't be happier either! All week long he's been saying to me, "Papa's Gator! John Deere Gator!". Keep in mind he's 2.


And of course I'll be bringing a great selection of cigars. Several Opus, a couple 64's and 26's, Anejo's, Hemi's, Monte 4's, RASS, RyJ Exhibicion 4, and we'll have to see what else I can dig out of there. I'm being somewhat vague with the Fuente's and Padron's, since I'm not sure exactly which ones I'll be taking yet.

I'm hoping to score some good duty free deals on liquor, hopefully I can find some HC rum, otherwise I'm not even going to bother looking for cigars.

Sounds like a good time. Do you and your wife scuba dive at all? Belize is supposed to be the best place in the Caribbean. That's where my next dive vacation will be. I've been to a lot of places in the Caribbean and Central America, and they all seem to have very cheap rum. Have a good time.

Belize City is were you go when you've been bad...I lived there for almost a year and was happy as hell to get out.

Be really careful of the mosquito's, some of them are so friggin big they'll carry you away!

We're planning on spending essentially zero time in Belize City. We're flying in there, then catching another flight over to Ambergris Caye. I've also heard it's not exactly the nicest place.
