Going Skiing

I am going to get to take a little vacation next week to Ruidoso, New Mexico to go skiing for a week. I will be there from the 5th to the 12th or so. I am curious if anyone lives close to there, and wants to meet up for a smoke or where a good place to smoke would be. Wear wrist gaurds, my million dollar surgeon just broke his arm skiing. Its a headache trying to reschedule all of his surgeries! :angry: Work is really going to suck!

They re built the Inn of the Mountain Gods a few years ago. The casino is actually really nice now. When I was in college it was only a 4 hour drive from Lubbock and we went quite a bit. 10 years ago the casino looked like a VFW hall with folding tables and chairs :laugh: Today I have heard that it is fantastic.

Let us know how it goes. We are only about 280 miles NE of Ruidoso and am trying to talk the wifey and daughter into going skiing within the next year or so.

Good to hear that there are some other snow lovers. I picked up skis for my son today and a new pair for my wife too. Of course, here in Ohio our ski areas are not exactly world famous...flat as a pancake...pretty much devoid of ski worthy terrain. That being said, this weekend is either to Perfect North or Mad River Mountain to get my son (age 6) some lessons. I will tell him of great places like Ruidoso!
