I am going to be in Roanoke, VA next weekend. I was wondering if anyone could give some advise about shops or cigar friendly bars/restraunts in the area.

Patrick,
I am in Blacksburg so I've been to Roanoke but not cigar shopping. There is a shop that looks OK just across the street from Corned Beef & Company right in the middle of downtown.

Corned Beef is a nice place to hang, I smoke cigars in the pool rooms all the time.

Hey, Patrick.

I've been to Milan Tobacco in Roanoke. It is decent. They carry most of the usual stuff. Don't know how they are on the hard to find items.

Drive on down to Blacksburg (~40 minute drive), we have a decent shop downtown.

Milan is decent, nothing really special in there. Also, try the Hotel Roanoke bar which is almost in downtown Patrick. They are cigar friendly and nice atmosphere....
