Graycliff Selection Avelino Lara -- $200 a box

I got an email from a guy that I buy from sometimes. He says he has several boxes of Graycliff Selection Avelino Lara at $200 a box. ??? I have never heard of these and can't find any info on them. Anybody heard anything about these?
 
The Graycliff Avelino 80th was created in honor of Avelino Laras 80th birthday, and introduced in 2001. Packaged in specially constructed and designed humidors, signed by Avelino Lara. (courtesy of Top25) At the very least, they are a limited edition and googling it pulled up nothing.
 
I'd never heard of these cigars as coming in anything other than the humidor. So I asked.

from the professional (blue) blend. We should still have a few pieces in our

80th Anny hume released near 2000 with two types of cigars; either a Cazadore size or a figurado size; I recall 24-26 cigars in the hume, a small Maestro de Paja hume with the logo, Lara signature carved, etc. I have two of them.....retail was $900ish I recall. Professionale blend stixx with a little more kick....
 
I finally talked to this guy on the phone about these. Turns out that they are just the red labels. I have never heard of them referred to as "Graycliff Selection Avelino Lara" before. :rolleyes: So I passed on this offer. I don't even really like the red labels. If the guy would have just said "red label" I would have just said no and not made myself look stupid with this thread. :blush:
