Following a 'light' dinner of pork ribs, baked potato and Caesar salad I decided on this stick for desert.

I got a couple of these from a coworker a few weeks ago and have been wanting to try one out. The light brown wrapper doesn't exactly jump out to me as being anything exotic or special. The smell, a bit relaxed and mellow.

I light the stick, take a few short, quick draws followed by a nice, long draw to get a good mouthful of smoke and flavor. What I got was a mouthful of smoke, minus the flavor. Seemed kind of bland to me with a hint of bitterness. The wrapper however was slightly sweet on my lips.

The entire first third of the cigar followed this same pattern, bland, dull, slightly bitter smoke with a slightly sweet taste on the lips.

Into the second third and final third, nothing really changed; bland, dull and bitter. Kind of like smoking a stick of bitter air. Kind of cool that I was able to hold an ash for a good 1.5 inches or so. And the burn was nice and consistent the whole way through. A slight bit of cracking at the end but by this point I didn't even care, I was just trying to finish the thing, hoping some flavor would come at some point, it didn't.

Pretty disappointing. Perhaps this wasn't a good stick to smoke after a hearty meal. Perhaps it wasn't a good stick to smoke when it's 55 degrees out. Whatever the reason, it wasn't a very satisfying stick. I have another stick, but I think I'll wait to smoke it when it's 90+ degree out and I've just woken up, following breakfast or something. Or maybe I won't smoke it at all...

Dinner (this was good)

Was getting dark on me, but this is the ash right before it fell off
