H. Upmann Signature

I recently had a stogie labled as an H. Upmann Signature. The band was jet black with cursive writing on it that stated "H Upmann Signature". There were no other markings on it.

I tried searching on here and Googling it as well, and neither came up with anything on this cigar. Was this some kind of "one hit wonder"? Are they a fake Upmann? If they are the real deal, are they available anywhere?

It was a pretty good smoke wether it was a true Upmann or not.

These are a real H. Upmann. Mike Argenti and his brother Al talked Altadis into letting them try something different for The H. Upmann and Por Laranaga brands, which have seen sales steadily decline in recent years. These will not be distributed by Altadis. They will be distributed by the Argenti brothers. They should be in stores soon. The Upmann is a pretty good smoke. They will also be launching a line called "Exile"

Thanks for the info. I thought it was a great smoke. I have a chance to get my hands on a box before they hit the stores.
