Was going through my stock pile of cigars from the Big Smoke (Las Vegas, '06) and decided to try this cigar. Pre-light aroma: very mild and pleasant. Had a hint of cedar, yet slightly sweet smelling. Cut very well, no cracking, wrapper did not come apart at all. Lit easily. Started off with a slight peppery taste; I picked up a lot of cocoa/chocolate taste in the beginning. Towards the middle I started getting more cedar/earth flavors, and finished off nice and spicy.

Cigar burned very even all the way through. It produced a good amount of smoke - not too much/not too little. The ash was dark gray, slightly flaky and fell off twice on it's own. Personally, I like a good solid ash that stays around for more than an inch.

Cigar lasted about 1 hour.

Over all, it was a good cigar, and I'd consider purchasing a box.

I give it an 86/100. It lacked some body/character.

Nice review, Rod. Now we want a review of the girls in the picture with you. Were they freebies at the Big Smoke too?

Only Bud fans get the bud chicks. :D You guys should start drinking Budweiser.

Excellent review, Rod. Straight to the point without so much rambling. I need to write a bit more like that!

As for the smoke, I've been meaning to try one of these for a while. Sounds like it'll be money well spent.

I've had a box for almost a year and am a quarter of the way through it. They are getting better, too!

I also put large singles in there for storage since it's such a nice cedar box. :p

Thanx for your review! I also agree with your assessment, if that means anything.

Nice review and I have to agree that it is a nice cigar. I try to keep a box on hand. Have had some for close to a year and they are developing a nice plume under the cedar wrap.
