OK I am sure this has to have happened to someone....

.... My daughters (9 and 7) have been bugging me each for an empty cigar box so they can store some of their keepsakes. This weekend I cleaned out my humi's and cool-a-dor to make room and free up 2 boxes. So while I was organizing and re-arranging stuff i free'd up 2 boxes and gave it to them...bless their souls they were estatic giving me hugs and kisses cause they had daddy's cigar boxes! :laugh:

Well after I finished I decided to go through my Fuente desktop and organize that as well, putting my soon to be smokes on top. In the process, I had a bit too much lemonade so I had to hit the head, low and behold when I return my daughters...no longer angels, have taken the bands off 2 of my cigars, San Cristobal Robusto's ... ugh ... I was furious :angry: , I asked them why they did what they did and their only reply was: "We like the pretty Parrot on it and wanted to keep it in our box." Man I felt like a dumbass for getting upset.

As you can see, I am gonna have a lot of issues when they get older cause I am wrapped around their fingures!

My son loves my cigar boxes. He has ten or so that he keeps his "secret" things in. He is doubly extatic if they are from Cuba. I give him my old bands to collect. He is saving enough to make a lampshade. I remember being a small boy and my grandfather giving me his boxes to keep my things in. I still have a Cuban Partagas box that has old photos stored in it. However, Jake knows that if he gets into my humidor, or my home office for that matter, that he will lose his privilages for longer than he can comprehend :laugh: .
