Leaving today for a week with the in-laws. :(

Anyone know of any shops/ lounges in the area I can duck out for a little while?

As in Florida?

If so, you won't be far from the Corona Cigar Store. Best to leave your checkbook and credit cards at home if you visit...

There is another store north of Orlando in Lake Mary (close to my house)...We are planning a mini-herf on Sat Jan 6 if you are still in town. See the Gonz thread in the herf forum.

Cheers,

Joe

Haven't been in a while, but I think there still is a cigar lounge at City Walk (Cigarz).

I know of some other places around the northern side of town...PM me if you want a full list.

Corona Cigar Company in Orlando!!

...hopefully Avo Uvezian is there. If not, he's probably at the club in St. Mary's!! Don't miss the opportunity the chat with him - he's a great guy!!!

Thanks, guys. Yeah, probably should have been more specific about where I was heading.

Corona looks sweet. Wish I was still going to be around for the herf, I would love to stop in. But, I'm headin back to NY on the 4th. I'm going to the Orlando Magic game tomorrow night, might stop in on my way there.

Thanks for the recommedation guys. Stopped in on my way back from the game. Man... you were right. Glad I left the cards at home. That place is great! We need some places like that up here. THere's a couple in NYC, but not so much on the island.

I decided that I couldn't go into a place like that without picking up some stuff, so I limited myself to one "big" purchase of something I hadn't seen anywhere before. Aftere walking the aisles for what seemed like forever, I decided on a God of Fore 2005 Robusto. Picked up a couple other less expensive smokes I hadn't seen around before either.

Again, thanks for the tip.

Yeah, before I knew it, two hours were gone, and the only reason we left was because it was a half hour past "closing" time. Didn't want to be the last one in there holding everyone up.
