i have never been to Maine my wife as been a long time ago but looking for some recommendations of things to do. and if anyone knows the best place to buy lobsters to bring home that would be great thanks
 
I go to a beach very close to portland every year with my family and we always get lobster from this local guy. Link, its not a site but it does have the address and the number. Its in Scarborough but if I remember correctly that pretty close to Portland. Usually when I'm in Main I just hangout on the beach so I don't really know any other places.

x2....I have an aunt that lives just north of Portland on the coast. I love lobster and had to learn the hard way that if you find a Coop or a shack, that is where you get your deals, not the restaurants! I am trying to remember the beach we went to, it was just north of Portland and had a small little carny as well. Good times!

Enjoy, have fun! If you like lobster, find a way to eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at least one day.
 
Thanks I love lobster and plan to eat a lot of it. We are going up to freeport for a day so my wife can go to ll bean. So maybe I will find a good place on the way
