I already introduced my self in the right forum but I figured I would say hi here as well since I found this section to be a bit more interesting. I haven't been smoking cigars for a long time but after a year of doing so I got curious about CCs.
I noticed that my boss also enjoys cigars and receives frequent packages. He helped me out and turned me on to a CC website that he uses often. He assured me that they were Cuban cigars so I placed a small order of 5 Monte #2's. I received the cigars, which were repackaged (non-original box and bands sent separately) to avoid confiscation, didn't want to go to jail on my first order :laugh:, very quickly.
I never smoked a CC and I have never seen/felt one but right when I opened the box they didn't look right. They felt a little loose and had a very slight greenish color to them ??? I took them to a local tobacco shop I frequent to get the owners opinion and he basically said that he was 100% sure they were fakes.
I was going to tell my boss but he seems to really enjoy his cigars and I figured if he likes them, then that's all that matters really.
Anyways, that's my first "Cuban" cigar experience and here is some fake porn.
Sorry for the poor pictures but I will upgrade my camera soon. Great site guys. I look forward towards reading future topics and soaking in all the info. I especially like the threads when someone asks for a source validation... good entertainment.
