HERFs in Iowa?

My girlfriend is from Iowa, alittle town off Interstate 80 called Wilton. It sits right in between Iowa City and the Quad Cities. We usually go out there once a year to visit her family and friends. So, next time I'm in the area maybe we can throw something together.

Quick story....

Iowa is only place I've ever had anyone complain or confront me about smoking a cigar. The first time was at one of the Casino's (Isle of Capri) in Bettendorf. One of the security guards asked me nicely to put it out. Hell, I thought it was like Vegas...smoke anywhere and everywhere. ;) And the second was at a bar in her town. We were sitiing at a table and she got up to talk to somebody and some dumbass girl grabbed her Padron 3000 and put it out in the ashtray. I didn't see her do it but, some guy at the next table did and told her. Boy, she was pissed!!! She started to walk over there and I grabbed her. After several minutes of explaining to her that she needed to let it go, she lit a Partagas and ordered another round. Ya, gotta love Mid-West farm girls. :love:

Hopefully I make it out to Bettendorf this year for my annual car racing event.

Hope I can meet up with some of the BOTL's for some fine smokes and conversation.
 
Hell you boys arent to far away form Outlaw in KCMO. Head on down there for some of the Cigar Events this year tell them you're a CPer and i promise they will treat you right!
 
I will be in KC the 1st of the month for a weekend of meetings :( Might try and sneak out to Outlaws tho :laugh:
 
I would suggest sneaking there at all costs it is definately worht it! :sign:

I will be at damn near every event except for one. I promise you it will be worth your time to stop in ESP for Padron.

Those guys will take care of you right and if you are there, I most likely will be too as im there for no shorter than 2.5 hours each time im there.
 
Looks like a great time!! I know I will be there the 31st till the 2nd of April, Now if I can get someone to cover me for the meetings :whistling:
