This pass was initiated with a twist-Puts are submitted in advance and a credit value assigned. When the box arrives at your house, everything in the box has an assigned credit. You can take anything of equal or lesser value. If you got the stroke, you can really rack up. ISOM for ISOM does not apply! This was designated as a super premium pass and my promise was to start the box out with a decent selection. Well, I finally assembeled 25 decent smokes. About 50% of the folks participating have submitted their puts---as you can see below, it looks like this pass is going to be real decent.Starting Inventory

You know there is nothing normal about this pass! I am going to do a couple of quizzes and the winners of the quiz are going to pick whether they want to be the start point/end point or who they want to be immediately after--pretty diabolical,huh?

Hi All,
You can read some of the previous messages to see what the concept of this pass was. Some of you may be interested to see what the final list of submissions was along with credit values. The whole thing was highly experimental and,as you can see, it has the promise of being extemely successful. Pass wil go out next week and we shall see. If anyone wants the details of how it was setup,please email me. It was VERY labor intensive compared to a normal pass. The object was to initiate a premium pass and maintain the integrity to the last participant. We may very well succeed this time....

Those puts look great Michael. I think this is a great idea and setup for this pass. Andy did a lot of work and it looks like its paying off. Can't wait for my turn. :biggrin:
 
This has turned into quite an event. One of the participants has a website going concerning this pass and now we have quizzes for MORE smokes as the pass progresses. Gotta love it. An admonishment.....If you don't have the time it takes to participate in a pass ; ie. Get the box--do your thing--return it to the Post office, don't sign up for a pass! The boxes are gone long enough as it is. A real decent pass rate is 2 stops per week--more realistic is one stop one week and maybe 2 the following week. A participant level of 12 people will probably equate to a 6 week pass duration---at BEST! Everyone downstream is eagerly anticipating their turn and a long delay does nothing but take the momentum away.Failing to face up to the resposibilities requisite with enrolment in a pass constitute nothing but selfishness as far as i am concerned. Face up to reality--asess your time constraints and determine whether or not you will be a contributor or a detractor as a participant.Why the rant,you may ask? My super premium pass was going GREAT--absolutely WONDERFUL! High energy level,plenty of interaction between pass memebers and a pure joy. It has now been delayed 11 (eleven !!!!) days at one stop. There is NO excuse for this-period.
 
GeeI guess there goes my chances to take part in High Octane II, oh well :) I guess my third garde teacher was right. when she said
