I know we've discussed this before but since this is HS Marching Band season again, and since marching band season is such a large part of a few of our lives, I wanted to share with you this clip I found. It's of the High School Marching Band that I marched with back in the day, it may be of some interest to those of you just getting started with your kids in this awesome program.

1981 Performance

LOL..... the mellphone solo was a friend of mine who went on to become a lawyer in the SoCal area.

Yup, Independence High School, nothing but a bunch of Eastside kids

Ah, I dated a few girls from Indy. All the best chicks seemed to be at any school other than mine. Lol. Del Mar, Leigh, Pioneer, etc. etc. etc. and some real hotties over at Los Gatos High, which was actually closer to my house than Branham, but thanks to funked up district lines...well, you know how it goes.

Had a primered '49 shoebox, slammed so low that it scraped everytime I ran over a piece of gravel, that was much better received by the hotties over at Indy, than the chicks at Branham.

Tell me about it, I tried dating our entire shield line, I-N-D-E-P-E-N-D-E-N-C-E, that's what I was reminded of at one of our reunions recently :whistling: .

A slammed and primered '49 shoebox? cool  . I was driving a 1958 Cali-look VW Karmann Ghia, Porsche red .... a little different for a Eastsider but my friends drove the '74 Monte Carlo, '76 Camero that we cruised in.

You're still a bunch of eastside kids.
I didn't know you went to Indy. I did a little dirt to some wenches over there.
