So, I've been brewing my own beer for about a year now. Mind, I still enjoy the occasional sixer of Guinness, but I usually stick to my home made stuff. And let me tell you, you can get twice the beer at twice the quality for half the cost by making it yourself! Yeah, I did just say what I said. You all saw it!

Anyways, any other homebrewers on here? I just finished brewing a new batch of stout, curious of there are any aficionados that also appreciate the finer points of a good brew =)

My first brew from Dec is about to be totally finished off and drank tonight. Everyone says they like it. Made a Fireman's #4 copy.. Time to brew another 5 gallons.. heh

I tried it, wasn't happy with the results, and quit. You got to get into it enough to mash your own to start saving money. Using extract like I was doing wasn't saving any money.
