Humidor Drawer

Hey guys thanks for the time.  I ffound an old table that I want to turn into a humidor.  It'll be small and this style of table I have never done before.  It is just a basic End Table with a drawer.   The front face of the drawer sits tight, so I am noot worried about a seal there, but how about sealing the entire cavity?  My thought is to just silicone the entire cavity where the drawer sits.
 
Is there any other advice that a few of you can think of that I may have over looked?  I thought about putting a hinged door on the top of the drawer, but that may not leave enough room.

Are you suggesting that I line the entire cavity in Spanish Cedar?  I was planning on doing that to the drawer itself, but not the entire thing.
