Call me "Walt Kowalski"
It is with a heavy heart that I bring this request to my fellow CP'ers. Earlier this week my bother and his wife were given the final diagnosis for their 14 month old son. He is said to have "Tay Sachs Disease". ( Tay Sachs Disease ) This link will explain a bit better than I am able to.
While it appears tragic, I believe in my heart, it will be better for them in the long run. The baby will not suffer for years and years and they will not have to endure the heartache of seeing their son in pain.
If this were for me, I would not be asking. However, for my brother, sister-in-law and the rest of my family, I ask your prayers and blessings. They are going to need help in the near future to make it through these tough times and see the light ( as dim as it may seem) at the end of the tunnel.
I am sad! I am very sad and appreciate y'all listening!
